Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how to permanently delete your Rumo account and all data associated with it, as required by the Google Play Data Safety policy. For general information on what we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.

1. Delete In-App

Open Rumo and sign in to your account
Go to Profile
Tap Delete all data
Confirm in the dialog

This action is immediate and cannot be undone.

2. No Access to the App?

If you no longer have Rumo installed, or can't sign in, email rumo.app.pt@gmail.com from the address linked to your account, with the subject "Account deletion request". We handle these manually, usually within a few business days.

3. What Gets Deleted

Account: public profile, username, photo, points and level
Trips: full history, cloud archive, backups
Social: leaderboard position, friendships, friend requests, blocks
Reports: speed camera and police reports you submitted
Authentication: your login record is removed from our systems — the email becomes free to sign up again from scratch
On device: car garage, achievements, fuel log, reminders, and locally-stored preferences

4. Retention

Nothing is retained after deletion. We keep no backup copies of your personal data once the request has been processed.
